International Animation Film Festival, Nov 24 - Dec 2, 2010
Anilogue 2010 is now open for submissions. We welcome narrative, experimental and documentary animated short films produced in Europe after January 2009. The maximum length for competition films is 20 minutes.
On Saturday evening, three special prizes and a main prize were distributed at the prize-giving ceremony of the 7th Anilogue Animation Film Festival by the decision of the international jury, Tomek Baginski, Alexei Alexeev and Mr. Hitoshi Suzuki. The audience award went to a fifth film.
Five years ago, Adam Elliot won an Academy Award for his animated short, Harvie Krumpet. His first feature length animation is now complete. The movie was the opening film of this year's Sundance festival, and won numerous festival awards including that of Annecy. Anilogue 2009 international animation festival proudly presents the Hungarian debut of Mary and Max, one of the most notable animations of the year.
