Warsaw, 1975. Kapuscinski is a brilliant veteran journalist, an idealist and a friend of lost causes and revolutions. He goes to Angola where a bloody civil war has broken out on the eve of the country’s independence. There, he witnesses the dirty reality of war and discovers a sense of helplessness previously unknown to him. Angola will change him forever: it was a reporter that left Poland, but it was a writer that returned.

    JURIES

Our short film and feature length juries of selected international animation professionals will announce their decision on Saturday evening at 7pm, just ahead of the closing show, the avant-premiere screening of Mirai.

The jury will have determined which film of the 30 candidates would receive the Best of Anilogue - Cartoon Network Award, and the €2.000 cash award with it, as well as the Best Feature Animation Award.

The jury members may also hand out special mention awards, and of course our spectators will send an audience award from Budapest to some place in Europe.
